Building a more inclusive workforce?

Help your candidates prepare for their interview by working with Smart Works Reading

Are you interested in building a more inclusive organisation? Do you want to help your diverse candidates to present themselves at interview as effectively as possible? If so, you might want to consider joining forces with Smart Works Reading, a charity which offers interview coaching, confidence and clothes to female candidates, or candidates who identify as a woman.

Smart Works Reading opened in October 2015, and now helps hundreds of clients from towns across the Thames Valley prepare for a job interview every year – and over 60% of clients go on to get the job.

Smart Works Reading referral partners can put candidates with a confirmed job interview directly in contact with the charity. Smart Works Reading will provide free Zoom or telephone coaching (carried out by a professional coach), and can also arrange a virtual or in-person dressing session to provide the candidate with a high-quality interview outfit which is theirs to keep.

Business partners can include a referral to Smart Works Reading as part of the interview confirmation process.
